OK51MON is infamous around these parts
Lightbulb Best Spark Plugs for 996TT Tuned

Is Denso Iridium still the best or NGK?

Im running K16 Hybrids with full bolts, RS coolers etc (non built engine)

620-700 crank bhp.

Also, a silly question. Should I change coil packs with every spark plug change?

Best

I use the plugs my tuner recommends with my set-up. They are Denso's.

Denso PK20PR-P8 is what you will need.

They are great for stock power up to 700 hp.

Always refer to the tuner who tunes or will tune your car.

I think the best advice is to use what your tuner recommends. 1/2 for political reasons to keep your tuner happy, and 1/2 because they know what works best for their package.

That said, on Sambo's advice I run Beru FR6-LDU. This cured my issue of the spark blowing out under high boost. I take them out of the box and put them in as is. I measured them and I think one electrode is like .020 and one is .022/4. Seems like Beru runs a staggered gap on each plug /shurg.

I've put 5k miles on including some hard driving in autocross and I've yet to have a misfire. My last set of plugs Bosch FR6LDC gapped to .034 (recommendation from a popular tuner) started misfiring at 3500 miles. That's when I reached out to Sam.

I was told to not run irridiums because they are a bit weaker but last longer.
