Wheel Fitment Question

How well would the following wheels fit on my 996TT?

The fronts are 19 X 8 with 57mm offsets, the rears are 19 X 11 with 67mm offsets (Porsche part #997.362.162/07). These are the new 19" Sport Design Wheels.

TIA..........Rich

I think that these wheels are being put on the factory 997 Carrera S cars. Was just curious if they'd fit a Turbo. (I'm not too knowledgeable of offset #'s and how they affect me.)

You don't want those wheels.....the backs would require hurrendous spacers in order to look good on a Turbo..........a couple examples, most people that go to custom 19s on 11Js are looking at something in the neighborhood of 30mm offset........67mm sure sounds funny but anyway, that would be like 2 3/4 inches further in the wheel well.....(looks good on a 356 but ).........another example.......OE hollows are 11Js (though 18s) and stock hollows would be 7/8" further out (closer to the fender line) than these 67s......and many people space those hollows out further with 7-14mm spacers.

Adding spacers reduces offset number......because the offset measurement of a wheel (ET) is how much a wheel & tire are 'pushed-in' the fender.......a spacer means they are 'pushed in' less so they are out closer to the fender line, or beyond the fender line if too low and out too far.

Hope this helps....if not, tell me where I'm loosing ya.

67....really?
