DetomasoGTS74: I'm certainly late responding. If you haven't already found a GT2, I would suggest considering FIRST finding a great technician that knows and understands these cars. Not just some Porsche shop or dealer. FWIW - my opinion is that a quality PPI by a GOOD tech is better than all the records you might have. Particularly with the more hard core enthusiast cars you are more likely to find examples that are owned by DIY guys. They may or may not have documented their maintenance. Above all you want to avoid the cars that were heavily crashed unless you are aware of the issues, feel they are resolved, and the price reflects that.
