Arrow Mystery Plug!

OK gearheads, what is this plug for and where is it supposed to be plugged in. Sitting loose on my passenger side next to where the O2 sensors plug in...

Strange, the green and violet wire, brown, and the third one seems to be orange and red is used for something I've never heard about, but found interesting: "Automatic exhaust gas recirculation examination" ??? Is it for the emission testing, I dont know but it is definitively a test plug...I'ver learn something today because I got the same plug and didn't know about his function ;-) Thanks for asking !

JP, again, you are a wealth of knowledge. I agree, it does appear to be a test plug of some sort. The six holes are numbered 1-6 as well, possibly indicating cylinders...??? I'm glad I'm not the only one who has it. If anyone has it plugged into something, please chime in.

I've got it too. It just sits in the black plastic "keeper" for the o2 sensors. Doesn't actually plug into anything. To me, it looks very similar to the plug on the air box on the drivers side. Like it's evil twin!

Sorry for the late reply/closure, but thanks to Stebo! Found that spot for mine as well. I think JP is on the right track...some kind of emissions/O2 test plug. Safely back in it's home for now...
