Right. I understand he's not a paying vendor, which means he of course can't and shouldn't come on here and advertise his business. But forum members that have dealt with companies that aren't forum vendors should be able to share their experiences with the forum for the benefit of the other members. That's what forums are for.

I'm currently a super-moderator over at M3forum..and we have never had a problem with members that post their experiences (good or bad) with companies that aren't forum vendors. We only stop the company owners and/or employees themselves from posting, as well as their "shills". And I definitely don't fall under any of those categories. I'm just a guy that likes fast cars.

Looks like another satisfied Protomotive customer.......did anyone have any doubts that Protomotive would not deliver the car on time (Remember, this is a predesigned package and not a venture into the unknown)????? As for the thread title, I would like to know why it has changed! If it is because Protomotive is not a 'paying' sponsor, please let me know, I will pay for their sponsorship myself.

As for the Cobra race, all I can say is that he's FUBAR...

Congratulations and keep us posted......

Congratulations Scott. Looking forward to hear about the performance of the car. The owner of "the shop" has been working on Sundays for the last few weeks to finish this and a couple of other projects. I will contribute to Protomotive's sponsorship too if this is what it takes to let them being mentioned here.

variable is infamous around these parts
Please post some driving impressions when you get a chance. This is an interesting alternative now that we see that you can get your car back so quickly.

And why the name change in the thread title? I hate that kind of behaviour, censorship and Big brother watching kind of stuff. Admins please step up!

Thanks Jean. Ya...Todd's been working his butt off. He and his family were quite sick for a few days and he had to put in some very late nights catching up. His efforts won't go unappreciated by me, that's for sure.

I would find this protocol to be quite acceptable if this was my forum (which it obviously is not).

Post a list of all the mods done to your car!

I have nothing against 6speed sponsors(tuners)... but this one someone got very wrong. its not like Protomotive went ahead and started to post all this stuff online... its actually a very happy 6speed member.... and as a member he should have the right to post his experiences....
best to all,
markski

I have to agree, but I would like to hear the story from the other side.

Maybe it was a rogue Mod that thought it was an advertisement. I would like to hear a response from the Mod staff.

yes - it's awfully quiet.

The funny thing about this is that Todd and Cynthia are so low-key, I couldn't imagine them advertising or boasting online in any form.

The fact that Promotive don't do advertisement makes their customers' cars that much more exclusive.

Mods do not have the ability to change a thread title.

As a Moderator, can you tell us who/why changed the title???? Also how much would it take to make Protomotive a 'contributing' sponsor??

Thank you for your time,

mods can absolutely change a thread title. especially the ones who created the board. I run a bunch of message boards and I can change anything anytime I want.
