F1 Status install (the best sound system in the world)

My car for the last 8 days has been undergoing the custom installation of the F1 status sound system. (up to date, the best in the world). The technology behind this system is incredible. The installation is being performed by Martin from Cartonics in Pembroke Pines , Fl (this guy is the most meticulous , detailed tech i have ever seen. nothing gets left to chance , from the quality of the wires , the routing , the components, etc.) . The car will be ready and available for those who want to hear this incredible sound system at the Cars for the Cure show in Orlando Feb3 and 4th.
I will post some pictures of the work in progress , and will update from time to time. there are probably 3 more days left to finish the install.
The system components are as follows:
F1 Status head unit DVI 9990
F1 Status Multimedia manager PXI-H990
F1 Status in dash monitor TMI-M990
Alpine DVD Navigation
Alpine Center Channel Amp
Alpine Ipod Connectivity
Terk XM radio module
Alpine Tv tunner
Alpine Ionbus to Ainet Adapter
Alpine SPX sperakers (4" with separate tweeter in dash and rear , total of 4) (2 6 1/2" midbase drivers door mounted) (2 JL audio 10" W6 subwoofers in custom enclousure behind the seats) (1 alpine center chanel speaker custom mounted in upper center console)
ADS 8 channel Amp 8500.2
Matts pro Audio 2000w Subwoofer Amp
6 ultra high quality crossovers with by wire input from Alpine
Custom trim built from scratch for both head unit /monitor and Amp rack.

I have to say, this is indeed the best sound system for any car I have ever heard in my life. Nothing else to say.

Awesome set up, I am having something very similar done at the moment. I would however look at changing the Mids plus Tweet, You are definately running top quality stuff but I have listened to the Alpine set up and the Tweets were a kinda let down for me! The JL's are awesome for sure, stick with these for subs, but I would go for CDT Set up which I have just ordered from US, the set up is HD-642 Kit, Trust me when I say this, it will blow the current speaker set up away! I have been investigating this stuff for the past 2 months and I wouldn't say otherwise! That is some piece of kit you have and would love to see it installed, mine is going in for installation next week so pics to follow.

My Set up

Kenwood DDX-8027 Head Unit
Kenwood KNA-DV3200 Sat Nav Unit
Kenwood KNA-TM320 Traffic Master
Kenwood KDV-C820 10 DVD Changer
Kenwood KTC-V500 TV Tuner
Kenwood KCA-IP500 IPOD Connection
Audison LRX6 6 Channel Amp | Audison LRX2 (possible run sep for subs)
CDT HD-642 Component Set
Diamond Audio Subs with Stealth Sub Box (custom Fit)
At sametime of installation wiring my Nokia CK-7W Bluetooth Set up

STEVO ,with all do respect if you can find a better set of speakers for mids than the F1 status i will replace them , but i doubt it; have you listened to the F1 status, these are not regular alpine speakers.

Don't get all offended, I have listened to the system, the head unit was about £2500.00 worth (sterling) and listened to a few other top end systems! I didn't say the mids anyway, I thought the top end (tweeters) just lacked a bit that of the CDT set up, the Mids were actually pretty good. I'm sure you will be happy with your set up, but I can assure you one thing it's not all just about the system, the car space has a major part to play in the quality, which there isn't a lot of in the 996.

I'm glad your very happy

here are some more pictures of the install, in my opinion Martin is an artist at
this kind of work. He is by far the best i have seen ( a perfectionist at heart and his work shows it). I will post pictures of the finished install next.
