just got carbon fiber insert the goes around radio..is suspose to snap in and out ... have 01 996tt. does not look kike it will my insert is three units the carbon is one. the sides snap out however the upper portion is screwed in as am i now that the carbon seems not to fit... any ideas ???

 

The cabon fiber piece you have will NOT fit. The 2001's are three piece and the 2002 and up are one piece. You need to send the unit back and order it for the 2001 model.
