CS is one heck of a car. Between a 430 and a CS, I'd go for the CS hands down.

stylewise that might be true. i think i'd pick the same. however, the 430 is clearly a much better & faster car between the 2. u'll realize it within 5 min behind the wheels of both cars.

It is, I agree but there's something pure about the CS that attracts me to it.

gallardo and 360cs are top choices, but the price of CS is not far below f430, which you should also consider.

BMW M5 & AMGE63: luxo barge. you did say 35 birthday not 53 right ;-)

Aston Vanquish, Aston AMV8: both are elegant, but yo already got british rover. the interior flavor is the same. it's more of a GT car.

997 TT: right behind gallardo and ferrri, this would be my choice.

I agree with barebones. I'm keeping the TT as a daily driver and thinking F430 for a weekend car

Fred Gallardo or 360cs, the others are all great cars but are not sports cars

-Aston's classiest cars on the road IMHO but keep in mind they are GT cars.
-AMG cars are boring after a while
-M5 is a sleeper but very fast too comfortable though
-997TT ah compared to your 996 nothing...

- drove a 6sp Gallardo this past weekend with wheels and an exhuast ...Audi interior=reliable..AWD+500HP really nice car...

I just saw Buddy's post on the 997 article. Not bad at all. By next February I am sure EVO and other tuners will have come up with some nice mod upgrades and kits/exhausts. So I may just wait to see what TechArt does before selecting my next toy ;-)

Does anyone know if they are going to change Gallardo look? I don't want to get it if they are going to come out with a replacement 2 years afterwards. (oh, ooopps I forget, who cares, I never keep cars that long ;-)

Hey Fred,
If you're planning to put mileage on it, I'd def. go with the Gallardo - as you mentioned, Ferrari's will take a beating w/high mileage. The other cars listed are true sports cars but not as exotic feeling as the Lambo, and I'd imagine you'd want something true since you have your Range as a daily. I'd guess you'll see a new release of the Gallardo in the next 2-3 years (normally once companies such as Ferrari/Lambo/Porsche roll out a spyder version they're 2 years from model end).

Easy choice, and it still all depends on your situation!

997TT - Fast as hell "exotic"sportscar" with practicality and awd, still has tons of track capability and a daily driver all in one. Can be comfortable

360CS - For just the weekend or track rider although i know people who drive them everyday, if you dont mind the ride it gives you its such a rewarding and fun car.

Gallardo - Gorgeous looks, AWD again , V10 and pretty straightforward, amazing sound , tons of power and so exotic, i havent had much experience with one yet.

SL65 - INSANELY fast with such a comfortable ride, tap the suspension setting it will stiffen everything up, lower the car and outhandle half the crazy sports cars out there. Looks are gorgeous although common i guess, like a E46 330 to M3/ SL500-65 a real enthusiast will tell but its just mindblowing the power with a renntech ecu!!!

All of the rest are great cars but as you can see wouldnt be my choices, for a sedan either the 63amg or m5
