Installed RSS Semi-solid transmission mount

so some people were wondering what would happen re: cabin noise if the transmission mount were replaced before installing the motor mounts.

As the title suggests, I installed the RSS transmission mount first so that we could know. I can confirm that there is a lot more cabin noise after the install. There is humming when the transmission shifts. There is also a noticeable increase in shudders when driving but not at an amount unbearable. That being said, I think I would prefer having a OEM transmission mount vs the semi-solid if that means reducing the noise and shivers.

Has shifting greatly improved? Any upside you see with a semi-solid trans mount?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I have a Tip. I would say there has been an improvement in shifting. It's more solid. The old mounts were all cracked so there definitely was some movement in the transmission when shifting and that is all gone now.

what i have learned about transmission mount is....how much more torque you have much more noises/vibrations you get....(in my case it was to much....rearlight bulbs failed..so i get back to oem )

second the drone in the car was much more existant (like exhaust drone)
