Drop engine to reapir coolant pipe, time to upgrade air intake?
One of the coolant pipe is leaking and i cant see where. Engine probably has to come down. Should i take the chance to upgrade the air intake that is easy to do with the engine out? Anyone comments on Markski's kit? https://www.markskituning.com/produc...ndable-tubing/
Is it worth doing/the money?
In addition the following will be renewed:
1. all coolant pipes
2. coil
3. spark plugs
4. check turbos condition, e.g. shaft play
TIA!

aside from dealing with your "suspected" coolant issue(?)
the rest is a tune up. why mess with the intake. there are lots of things you can do "sequentially" without messing with "intake" first.
there is a 15+ year old "step by step" protocol for upgrading the power output with bolt on upgraded parts. you can do it all at once? or piecemeal. messing with the intake is NOT where to begin.
study those with these cars and their upgrades, that have come before you. GL.

When I pinned my coolant pipes Marski set me up with a modified version of his soft inlet pipes.
Give him a call - very honest guy and great to work with.
You won't believe how tight some of the bends/pinches are with the stock pipes.
I don't know where your budget ends as there's a lot that can be done both for performance & maintenance when the engine is out.
However, with the engine out you're basically paying for parts - install of the soft pipes was a breeze.
