Knock sensor cross reference

Hey guys, so apparently from others peoples good advice a Rat got to the plug and chewed it up. My repair shop called Porsche up and they said I’m SOL on a plug. I’ve done many searches and research over the net looking for this plug. Does anyone know anyone or do you have a spare plug for a knock sensor bank 1 ? I searched that someone was able to use a Volkswagen plug and worked but couldn’t find any part number reference ? Any help would be appreciated as my car is in parts right now thanks

Not sure I understand your post to be honest, so you need a new knock sensor? other? Please clarify, maybe others would help if they understood what your issue is.

Hey Bear, thanks for the response. Sorry if I was unclear in my post. I'm looking for the plug, that plugs into our knock sensor 1. Apparently, it went through 2 PPI's w/o triggering the check engine light. From searching different boards, I heard a VW or Audi knock sensor plug should work. The repair shop called Porsche last week, but they said they dont sell the plug by itself. Only the Big harness. Thanks

I found these links, hope they help. Maybe others will chime in.

I'm guessing you may be able to take the plug to the VW / Audi dealer, and they could help. I may have an Audi knock sensor from a 2001 Audi S4. I will look tonight, maybe same plug.
