I've heard the RUF do a wider version of the GT3 but that's it.

I have found what looks like a cross between a standard seat and a clubsport seat (this is in a GT3)

This I'm sure is the Clubsport seat that everyone is talking about (I hope so) You can just make out the Porsche logo!

It's an option on all 996's. It's what I have on my turbo S. IMHO, better than the regular seat but not as good on the track as the GT3 seat is.

Cool! so Recaro also do a copy, does anyone know if these are similar in comfort?

Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure before I do look for something!

Don't think anyone answered this question!

How easy are these to get in and out, basically if I want to put the heated seats back in for winter? (which I would probably not, lazy, lol)

These are also made by Recaro to Porsche specs and design. Recaro's one is called Pole Position and the difference, as far as I can tell, is the design of the seat belt "holes" at the top. Some same that the Pole Position is a bit wider but since I haven't tried them, I can't comment on such.

You'll get used to them after a while. They are not as easy as the stock seats ofcourse, but not as difficult as some race seats seem to be. Heat can be installed in these because the seat pads are actually removable. I've seen someone here install heating elements on these seats.

Exactly what i was pointing out. The pole position is the same exact construction and shell, just a tad wider and a different upper half. Here are some pics of mine and then a GT3 seat in a porsche! What's also good is that you can use the OEM seatbelt on the street and have your harnesses hooked up as well

Pole's in a turbo!

Kerry's GT3's
