Escort GTimer?

Does anyone have one? Is it accurate?

I'd be interested to see if someone took it to a track and compared its numbers with those of the track in the quarter mile run and stuff. This would show how accurate it is.

One of my main reasons for wanting it is for tracking lateral G's at the track.

From what I understand, it measures distance and times based on the G loads put on it... and that's it. Seems unbelievable that it works.

Chris Y. is infamous around these parts
Hi Scott...

I've got the one from Escort...GT2 I think is the model. I haven't been able to compare the lateral G forces with a pro machine, but the quarter miles times are pretty accurate with the 2 runs I did last month.

They have a money back deal...might want to give it a try. But personally, If I did it again, I'd for the G-Tech..more features and you can download more info to your PDA or laptop.
