Old Tubi vs New Tubi exhaust

I tried a search, but it is down. I know that the old style Tubi exhaust had claims it lost power, but on Champion Motorsports site they show a new Tubi Gen II exhaust that adds power now. Looks like the old was just 1 piece, where the new is two separate pieces.

Is the old style Tubi any good...I can't find any sound clips, because there is one on ebay kinda cheap. Did the old style really lose power.

I am looking for an exhaust which does not cost a ton (just bought the Techart Type II bumper). Not looking for super loud either...neighbors will hate me again. I had the Active Autowerks on my 02 M3 that was very loud at idle and wot. I am considering the Remus also, but have not heard that one either.

I know the usual candidates for exhausts, but upwards of 5k is a little too much for me right now. Thanks for any info

I have a couple of sound clips of it, was OK, not great. Look at how small the tubing is......no surprise it didn't make power.

The Remus is a much better buy, sounds good. Ari has a few clips posted.

Unless Champion provides a dyno, and they wouldn't when some of us requested one months ago, I'd say buyer beware.
