Talking 9 States and 1,700 miles in 3 Days...Worth it

So I bought Bob T's old 996 TT earlier this month and finally had the chance to go get it this past weekend. I live in Dallas and Bob lives just outside of Philly, not exactly close to each other. Most folks would have shipped their car to them but I wanted to bond with it and take a road trip with my best friend. Took a plane to NYC, hung out with family for a bit in Jersey, then took off to Philly to pick her up. Bob had her waiting for me when we pulled up. My best friend and I made way to Fontana Dam to crash for the night, the next day we hit The Dragon:

We stopped in Tennessee to visit some more friends along the way on Saturday, then we made a beeline back home on Sunday. Honestly one of the best road trips I've ever experienced. More pics later when I get home.

I don't see why not?!
We did One Lap a about 3 weeks ago and that was 13 states, 5,200 miles and 19 race events - all in 10 days.
3 days should be a walk in the park.
Car looks good!
