How are you ?
that was in my old car (Hamann' 996 turbo).
I was going to L.A. from pasadena on the 2freeway 3am in the morning i took the car to about 202-205 mph and was red line. the car was going down hill but that was while back.
Holee sheatzu. That is crazy fast! Doesn't suprise me, I think that car really kicks in at the top end.

PS Despite the evidence that I was on crack in the previous post, I'm ok and was just recognizing that you quoted Training Day with "King King aint got etc.." with my own ones

My girlfriend translated it and it read,
"That fool has some BIG *** NUTS!

But Budman I hope that everything works out and you can get this off of your record because a felony is not cool.

In the UK if you have a jail sentence and criminal record slapped on you due to speeding/evading the law your career in anything is going to be hugely hit...

Good luck buddy, but this pretty serious..

all the best

Get any new prison art?....................

Also, with who were alliances formed with. To go it alone brings greater risk of "Open Season".............

BuddyG is my hero. I'm only mildly disappointed he couldn't tack another 25 mph on there. Buddy, I wish you the best of luck in getting this cleaned up effectively.

And for those who call this stupidity, I can provide a much much better example. This happened up my way back in September. Drunk guy in a Lambo evades police at speeds of 182MPH in traffic!

Don't cops stop the pursuit if it's too dangerous? I guess they thought their Crown Vic's could keep up Not. They must have thought they the car was stolen or they wanted to brag to their buddies about how they were able to stop a 770 HP 911 Turbo. And you think with all that open road in Texas they wouldn't have a speed limit.

Budman here is a tip, when driving through Texas have Texas plates. No joke either.

Budman,

When you were doing the shootout and then trucking across the US for TOD, I thought you had passion....

But trying to out run troopers.... I think we just found the star for the next cannonball run movie !!!!

"The Budman and The Red Beast"

Hope things work out for you...

I bet he does make some local paper or news...

Aye yai yai!

I haven't decided which way to go on this one so I think I will wait until the details come out. I will give my first thoughts though:

If you were doing 160+ on a road you didn't know ... not a good idea. I think Buddy knows this. If there was traffic around, really bad idea. I'm hoping Buddy was still a little pent up over recent events and just made a snap decision when he say the cherries ... in the wrong direction.

I have no problem doing 200 mph on a road you know and under controlled conditions (no traffic, rabbit ahead with a radio, driven it before working up to that speed, ...). But, evading police where there is little chance to tuck away (open Texas highway), … yow.

I’ll wait to hear the details but good luck Budman and please dial it down, you’re in one hell of a slump! You’ve got kids!
