When I bought my mirror, the V1 was totally seperate. I think it was just under 1k for the whole kit.
Make sure you buy the external on off switch......if you plan on hiding you V1. The on off switch replaces on of those "fake" window buttons.

thats the full price all but speaker which they want 99 bucks i got my own for 15.00 the speaker allowes you to hear voice announcements (kind of radar ) really the chirping is all you need... the display fits nicely in bat wing just above shifter.... you can spend more and get a blocker too,, but it's not legal to have in cal, and now that most chp use rolling radar it's like they have a big sign say here i am .... hit the brakes and you will be safe.... mine goes of at least a mile before i see the cop.. (on flat land) the thing has saved me lots of times really see ya steve

I have a non auto dim mirror with the V1 display. It's not etched like the AI unit. The receiver is mounted in the headliner toward the back and the volume/controls are in the knockout by the headlight switch. Here are some pics

eric i can dig 360 protec fyi if you ever get stoped and the officer sez he got you from the side try to get him to note that on the ticket, take it to court you will get off... trust me radar can not be shot from the side!! but having side view radar is very cool.always neat to know their location, ps mine saved me today on the way to the sharkwerks
