I think a stock Turbo is one of the more stealth super cars around. Just as there are pro's that go along with this, there are con's. If you need more car-as-jewelry valet power, I guess you'll need to move up to an F-car, Lambo, RR or Bentley. Either that or tell the valet you will let a 0-100-0 road test determine who should really have a spot up front!

when you get into situations like that, it's all about money with the valet guys. particularly at upscale establishments such as where you went. mucho dinero = up front. and if you're guest of the owner of the establishment, you're made first priority. so you never really know. but for sure, MONEY is the only language with valets. your porsche is definitely eligible to be parked in front, the valet dude was basically communicating to you that he wants you to break him off just as the F50, Murci, and bentley peeps did.

JK....miami is a great place! Although, last time I was there...I only saw 1 996TT (black) and just a handful of ferraris.

The nightlife was great...although, for some reason we always ended up at Solid Gold! What a great place!

I offered him a $50 just to avoid being embarrassed in front of my girlfriend but it was not happening!

The 996tt is not a show stopper IMHO. It is all about its performance, and is as understated as any sub 4.0 second car can be IMHO. If you want curb appeal go buy a F car, Bentley, or Lambo. Heck, a modded PT cruiser might get more curb appeal then a stock 996tt. I personally like stealth cars as I would much rather save money from the local authorities then worry about tipping to valets. No worries, your car is the better performer, that is what matters.

I am driving tonight with my girlfriend to get an after dinner drink and pull up to a place I have not been to in some time. As I pull up, I see one of the valets kindly moving a CL55 to make room for me to park. As I pull closer the valet begins to walk to my door and tells me to roll down the window. "We are full tonight......" "Come again?" The next second an orange Murcielago slides right into my spot. I then start arguing with the valet for why I can't park up front. He responds by saying "Listen pal, I have an Enzo, a 360 Spyder, an Azure and an F50 up front tonight. Come back another night!

Oh well......
Thats ridiculous and downright arrogant, I would have parked, toke my key and went inside, you would have spent more than his nights pay inside.

Thats too funny! I was at Mizner the other night and that little front space is always full. I saw a light blue Murcie and a new Bently Contenintal GT drive by.
If you want a front spot "Get there early" Is all I can say. And I always walk away with my keys. Pay him an extra 10 for that.
