Talking The bug bit me... Again

Looks like I am going to be dusting off the red sled off terror. Hows the membership feel about a new build thread?

Thank Sambo!

brnrdtns, springs, belts and rims with just the right amount of poke!

Etchhead, Fun maybe an understatement...

I will start a new pic heavy thread. I put the cases together 4 years ago and moved to a new location and it has been sitting in a box on a shelf since so no pics of that but the rest..

What lived and what died in the old engine? You were at around 1,400 at the wheels, correct?

Don’t know... I have not taken the engine out yet. What I do know is cylinder 6 spark plug would not come out. I was still using stock pistons😂🤣😂🥴

Welcome back Timmy!

I just popped back in from well over a year away from this place because I needed some info that I have forgotten since not tuning and testing as much.

I still haven't tried pushing the new turbo wheels I designed for my car almost 3 or 4 years ago, Iv'e just been driving it at 650 hp and still have the boost dropping off fairly early. Maybe I will feel inspired to see what kind of RPM these things will still keep making power too. I know my budget sure is not what it was several years ago so do I really want to open up that can o worms!

Thank you! 650-700 wheel is a perfect street car.

You have definitely been missed. There are a handful of people who's opinion I trust here and when you stopped posting a couple year ago it left a noticeable vacuum. Your posts were always spot-on and never condescending which is what this forum needs more of.
Welcome back!
