997 turbo's engine in 996 turbo's chassis / Intake cams
A friend of mine wants to know...if anyone has installed 997 turbo's engine to 996 turbo's chassis, using 996's Motronic and wiring loom?
Is there profound restrictions in ME7.8's ability to control 7 turbo's Variocam+ or injection/ignition?

Next question about the same subject:
Is there difference in intake camshafts between 996 and 997, namely in that "propeller", that delivers cam's position to hall sensor?

Could someone do me a small favour, a Durametric log containing RPM and Actual Camshaft Angle Bank 1 & 2, while cranking about 5 seconds without fuel, so no start?!
