Has anyone here driven a Challenge Stradale ?
Seriously? No, wouldn't know what to do with it. Can't drive it on the road, and you're basically leasing it from Ferrari. Don't think that you can own one.
CS is the kind of car that comes around maybe once in a life time. It might not be as fast as my turbo S but it doesn't feel like it at all. Enzo is much more intemidating to own and drive. CS is just perfect IMHO.

well, its down to a CGT now, or a Challenge Stradale now and CGT in 18-24 mos when the prices stabilize.
Head to head, I know the cars don't really compare, but its somehow still a choice !
Not exactly a life altering choice I realize, but the thoughts of fellow car nuts are always appreciated, so thanks for indulging me.

6 months ago I was looking pretty hard at replacing my GT2 with one. Did a fair amount of research, and then went to Miami to look at a couple and drive one. I was impressed, especially since I love the styling. Certainly not as fast as the GT2, and it is certainly lacking in torque.
Board member Josh has had both, and he recently sold his CS and went back to a GT2. Best advice I can give is drive one.

Well man i do have to say its a tough decision.. I mean look at how gorgeous the 360 CS is, prob sexiest looking car IMO, enzo coming close haha.. F430 is not slouch as well, but i guess you want something race-car like

The search function is not working so I am going to ask a stupid question. Can somebody give me a quick education on on the Stradale? What years were they made? How many did they make vs. regular 360's?
What is the weight and horsepower/tq vs. regular 360? What other differences do they have? Is there a 430 Stradale coming? What did they cost new and what is the current market $ on these? Maintenance costs & issues? How "reliable" are they? How many miles are too many? Lastly, what are the maintenance intervals and how much do they cost?
Thanks in advance.

CGT over any F360/F430 any day. U already have a F40. I don't see any open top in that stable of yours. Why not add that to the collection as well while still able to enjoy the amazing speed?
As nice as the F360/430 is, it is no CGT. I think the CGT exhaust note sounds better in comparison. Though understanding that u don't like porsche after your experience, but i seriously think that shouldn't turn you away from a car like that.

While not on my short list of 2-3, it is in my top five. What it lacks in easily achieved performance it makes up for in skilled hands. The ergos rock, the car is beautiful- what's not to love. So what if it has the same torque as the base 911- the base 911 doesn't hit 190 nor does it have dry sump for the corners.
