Shank, nice stable! How did you compare the E55 ('04) to the RS-6? Why the RS-6?

RS6 is a 4 door TIP Porsche. I'm awaiting sportec mods as we speak. Will post pics of that soon.

Color Change,

Only because the RS6 had more potential, and I'm biased towards AUDI.

I have driven both. Obviously neither were my cars so the seat time was limited to 20 minutes in each. I personally prefer the E55 out of the box a little better. It is more fun to drive imho only because of the quattro in the Audi. I know that sounds crazy, it just feels almost like you are trying to harness some beast when driving the E55. That said, there is no doubt that you can safely drive the RS6 to the limit and it forgives poor drivers more. I like the looks of the E55 slightly better, but, not by much.

You, Doug, and 996TTR should stop by for a cocktail.

I just looked at the forcast they switched Saturday to partly sunny and Sunday for flurries. I am up for Saturday or Sunday anytime. I am sure Dave(996ttr) has a nice toy to bring anyway Vikdaddy, Shank, 996TTr, and myself makes 4, anyone else? Can anyone suggest a meeting place as well?

Looks like the forecast changed again to both days partly cloudy, but I think saturday would work best. How about in the late morning noonish? I suggested Dave and Busters in Addison or a food joint in the burbs so we wont have to worry about parking and the security of our cars. Does anyone have a spot in the city where we can go?

How about VIP's and then Crobar after that ?

I am up for anything, where is Addison?? I don't know how traffic is on Sat or Sunday, but, I love driving Sheridan Road from Lake Forest to the city, it is a great drive. Don't know about in winter though. Lets get this confirmed with confirmed people. Count me in wherever it is weather permitting.

Here is the map of the D & B in Addison:

Lou, I think it would be cool if we ate lunch somewhere in lake forest and took a drive down Sheridan Road to the city afterwards while the sun is still out. I have my Sony Digital Video Camera so I can document the drive and the meet. This is a good idea, does anyone have any problems with this? Lou, do you know a good food joint in LF where we could meet?

While I would like to do it, I can't pull that much time out with so much holiday stuff. 1-2 hours at D&B shouldn't be a problem. What day, what time?

Okay, looks like it is Dave and Busters (yes off of 355 shank). How about this Saturday December 13th at 1:00 pm? Here is the address:

1155 N Swift Rd
Addison, IL
60101-6114, US

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...submit=Get+Map

I hope everyone can make this. Also, is it cool if I invite others like euroteknik.com ? Thanks.

I'm in for sure. Vik, we'll do the sheridan road thing in the spring should be cool with the lake to the east and blooming trees everywhere. BTW, can I bring some other people? X5 4.6, MBE55, X50 Turbo, maybe some others or maybe none will want to come, just want to know if it is possible. Either way, count me in.
