Shane Jones is infamous around these parts
Checkout Boostane additive. Ends up costing around $1/gallon to take you from 93 oct to 100 oct. Tons of great testing and dynos by some reputable youtube racers ( Demonology and Srtmush are just 2 that come to mind). The stuff doesn't foul your plugs or clog filters like normal boosters. ...and Much easier carrying a can of it in the trunk.

When I'm stuck on a long trip and I don't feel like running a 93 octane tune I just use Torco Accelerator + 93 octane pump gas. It's probably similar in composition to the Boostane additive you mentioned. I also run 50/50 methanol injection so that helps reduce knock as well. I'm pretty cautious and I don't run the car hard if it doesn't have 100 octane fuel in the tank when I am running the file that was written for it.
The Torco Accelerator product has been around for a long time and it also has proven to be an effective product that actually raises octane levels - significantly if you add it in a high ratio to your fuel. For a time I was using it with 100 (32oz with every fill-up) and my plugs never looked off other than a slight rust color which is a normal side effect of the product and completely harmless.
