there are 3 types of lip...
1st kind is the carbon
2nd is the same shape of lip as carbon, but in plastic
3rd is the old one that came with TechArt Type II
The one I had before, and the one duane has...
it's a little plastic guard that goes in the middle... but it doesn't extend outwards to wrap around the lip... but only serve as a protection for the middle front...

 

I think the third one comes standard with type II and type IIGT...I definitely want price on 2nd kind!! so do you, Endra, Fred, etc...If its cheap I might even get 2 just in case

Also, a not to everyone interested...the GTS bumper INCLUDES one carbon lip...Kevin included this in the group buy for those who have a broken carbon lip or wanna add it to a type II or type II GT they already have...

 

it depends how much the plastic lip is gonna sell for....

but, most likely I will probably get another carbon lip to replace if mine get into a severe damage... (I hope not too sooon)

not really - the group buy is for type II GTS (with carbon fiber) front bumper and rear spoiler, rear intake splitters and sideskirts...
Ask Luting if he would accomodate this...

i believe it's possible...
the purpose for the group buy, i believe is not restrained to only 1 item...
if we can get many many parts from this same guy...we'll be hooked up with a good deal for most of the TechArt stuf...
but only techart...
But I'm trying to have as least item as possible...b/c we're not asking for too many parts... and most of the guys aren't even sure if they want to get them or not... ^_^

I really want the side duct splitter to be in cf on the splitter. Can anyone do this? Otherwise, it doesn't match the front end (which has the cf splitters.

 

Techart only makes it in plastic though!! I think SPortc makes a CF sir duct (not splitter) but its...RICE!!
