I heard back from the distributor for Sportec wheels:

"The new Sportec Mono/10 wheels for the 996TT will be available next month. We are going through a new production with BBS and should have the new wheels available. For you application, (996TT) it would be 8.5x19 (235/35-19) front and 11x19 rear (315/25-19).

Pricing:

8.5x19 Chromesilver ET50 $1,082.00 each
11x19 Chromesilver ET60 $1,365.00 each

Todd Yasuda 3T & Associates, Inc. 3038 Red Hat Lane Whittier, CA 90601 USA Tel: 1-562-695-8855 Fax: 1-562-695-8835 www.3tassociates.com "

No word on what the lip is like on them now or wheel weights yet.

So true. I carry a bunch of small buffing rags and microfiber towels with me for the first few days after detailing... it always seems that I'm finding somethign I couldn't see or I overlooked 20 min ago. Frustrating.

My first car was a black/black M3 Conv (E46), sold it within 2 weeks of moving to FL....With the rain down here....forget about it, its just cannot be kept clean!!! Yellow is very very easy, it really doesn't show dust or light dirtyness at all....
