Has anyone had any success painting their seatbacks? If so, what is involved in disassembly?

I have yellow and my motorsports guy at the dealer said not a big deal to paint or repaint. He did my center console yellow to match the seat backs for $150 and looks factory. Then go get the seat belts to match!!!

 

I've my sport seat back painted. Not a big job, take my installer 1 hour each seat. I will suggest find someone with experiance. I saw some really bad job when installer don't know how to put them back! This is a must have option for light color Porsche.

 

ray, nice! what about that console, really makes a difference!

 

I've my EX-996C2 painted everything inside and it really make huge different. My TT has large leather package, the lower console is leather with stitching and I leave it that way this time!

 

painting seatbacks to body color is such a classy, beautiful thing. a must.

 

Has anyone painted the backs of their GT3 seats?

I was going to have the plastic openings on the elephant ears colr matched, but did not know how involved it would be to paint the backs as well.
