A Cheap Brake Upgrade...

We've been changing out turbo brake ducts for a few years now and it seems that everytime we go to the GT3-Style brake ducts (both pictured) they keep on getting larger and larger... and now they have rivets. These ones we installed are from the 04. Our track guys swear by them and I've been using them for ages. In terms of cooling properties is not hard to see why the GT cars use them. What's good enough for GT3s/GT2s etc... is good enough for me. They're pretty cheap for $126 per side and your local dealer can get them. Let me know if you guys need the part numbers etc...

Alex, thanks for the work! Please tell your wife were sorry you had to miss out working on my belts! I could swear my car has at least 100 hp more now with that third radiator..... LOL I got a good look at those brake ducts at Devek when they were trying to fit up the splitter. Nice job!

See you on thursday for the suspension!

I can remember introducing and posting this (with pics and part numbers) to the 996tt scene back in 2002. Is this really now just catching on?

I just had them installed before my last DE, IMHO they really helped with brake longevity and fluid not boiling. Must make sure to get the "Cup" ducts with the rivets, there are several other versions which are not as large.
