Europipe Shocks The World!!!!
Beautiful exhaust Ken! Did Stef/you consider a straight through muffler for even better flow (albeit at the sacrifice of the melodic sound produced by EP's chamber muffler)?

Well I guess its all over now. I have been considering a few different pipes, Europipe Quiet was my first choice but honestly I did have a few others I was considering(manly because of price). I'm trapped now....how can I get anything else(unless of ). I am about 3 weeks away from a stage 2 conversion, intake, chip, headers, DV....pipes are done.....Europipes...

Good to see you here.

My how times have changed. When I was talking to Sref a few years ago we we talking about an exhaust that would flow 750 plus hp.
At the time everyone was chasing the Gemballa 750 and the TechArt 650. Then again, I can remember in July 2001 going to Renntech for 540 hp (back then 500 rwhp was a major feat) after talking to EVOMS who couldn't offer anything close. Now EVOMS is one of the leaders.

I can’t wait for you to describe how it sounds relative to the Stage 2 Loud. Congratulations on an outstanding addition to your car.

The transition between the cat and the muffler is 84mm while the muffler and the 2 tailpipes equal 92mm.
Here are some airflow results measured on a Superflow SF-600 @ 20" H2O :
Stock exhaust : 221 cfm cubic feet minute
Stage 2 : 373 cfm
Open pipe - no cat - stock tailpipe : 422 cfm
New Europipe muffler : 588 cfm
Backpressure of a stock 996 TT exhaust on a stock 996 TT at 6500 rpm is 0.36 bar
Backpressure of a Stage 2 EP exhaust on a stock 996 TT at 6500 rpm is 0.15 bar
Backpressure of the new EP exhaust on a stock 996 TT at 6500 rpm is 0.080 bar

Stef is an absolute gentleman, I loved dealing with the guy. Thanks again Chad, for pointing me in their direction. I have had my Stage 2 Loud for almost 2 months now, and ever since, I haven't really even used the radio. I enjoy hearing the exhaust more! Europipe makes a work of art that is not only beautiful to the eyes and ears, but also delivers with performance. It is obvious that they build to suit...who else does that??? Anyone who doesn't have their product...SHOULD!!!
