I'm a long-time member. I enjoy reading Panorama and attend as many PCA track events as I can.

I have been a member for 30 years plus. Oops let the cat out. It has been a great experience. We have met most of the Porsche family and I have a picture on my wall of shaking the hand of Dr. Ferry Porsche as he is giving me the first place ribbon at the 73 Pebble Beach Porsche Parade Concour.

If I receive Panorama does that mean I'm a member? I do, but can't recall joining...

I joined PCA when I first purchased my TT... so far, the dealer discount alone has saved me a few hundred bucks.

Pano seems to have *maybe* one good story in it a month... and a TON of adds; I certainly wouldn't get it for the magazine (although it is nicely put together)

I've been a member for too many years to remember. Been to a couple of Parades, sold several cars and some parts over the years, and like the benefits. Good club.

If you receive Pano then YES you are a PCAer. The clubs are only as good as the people that are elected. I also sit on the local board. If you find things are not what you want, get involved and run for office. I was not heavy in to the PCA, but a change on officers made the difference.

I bought my first Porsche in October and joined the PCA. So far I've seen one issue of Panorama. Nicely done but mostly ads.
I did't know anything abiut this $100 coupon. I guess I will write to them and ask if I qualify for one this year. What is it good for?

I will definitely have to ask my dealer about the 10% discount.
This forum is saving me money already and it was free to join.

Thanks guys

Member since mid-2000. Magazines have been informative. I haven't really involved myself with the events as of yet. I may in the future..

I am a member and on the board of the Florida Crown Region PCA and there are alot of great people and events associated with membership. The hard part for me is finding young members with progressive interests (i.e. heavy modifications, fast driving, etc...) and unfortunately this PCA doesn't offer alot in that department.

6SpeedOnline is an excellent resource and I am glad that I found it. I think most members will agree that it is probably best to hook up with members of this forum in small, impromptu events and just hang out. It seems to be the most fun with the least committment.

Thumbs up PCA

I'm a member, and have been President of the Orange Coast Region for the last two years. As of January I'm a "past president", I'm glad it's not "passed president".

The comments about you get out of it are what you put into it are 100%. We have recently recieved 10% discount coupons which are very nice. There is no guarantee they will continue although it is a popular program. It pretty near pays for my replacement front spoiler every year! And you do get an ongoing 10% discount from most local dealers.

I've had lot's of fun with autocrosses, rallies, track days. wine tours, etc. etc. Depends on what you want to do, we have a once-a-month Saturday Breakfast Club that routinely draws 80+ cars. All sorts of vintages and flavors to look at. If you're one of those elitist's that look down thier nose at the pleb's driving anything other than a 996TT; stay home.
