yes, that's my point. it seems kind of high for a build date so far out.

Ben could b possible. My friend at the dealer told me he has a July 04 build and he has it sold for a million.

that seems pretty nuts. i'd be pretty tempted to sell my 8/04 for that!

I find it hard to believe that somebody would pay nearly $600K over MSRP even if he had money to burn. Just one dealer in Sacramento has 3 available. GT Silver, Fayence Yellow and Black. (Future builds).
They apparently took a deposit on their 4th one, guards red.
I don't know what they are asking but I can't imagine much over MSRP. Check it out at niello.com

I gave them free ad here but have nothing to gain personally.
Maybe they will let me drive one for few weeks.

yep, especially when a late 04 build garners a single questionable bid at $500k.

I know me personally would not spend 600k on ebay. If it was guaranteed from a dealer then thats a different story. As much as there are open slots if you look around hard enough there are always people with to much money to burn. The be design shootout car was sold for 190k after the shootout. Once the car hits the US there will be a huge demand until the hype dies down. My guess is the car will stay strong at MSRp or above for quite some time. Now back to Golfnuts post. Who has a yellow one available?

Look at what the Seller NORMALLY sells

Clothes... used... crappy.

No chance that this person has a line on a CGT...

Bogus Bidder, Bogus Seller... crap all the way around.

What a joke.
