Permanently disconnecting front diff?? Advice needed
My front diff seems to be going, shop says shafts are very lose and the viscus coupling needs to be changed, should I fix the front diff or have them disable power to the front and make my car rear wheel drive only. What are the advantages and disadvantages of doing this?
Any issue with confusing the ecu and throwing off a bunch of warning lights? (PSM/ABS, etc.)
Does the traction control still work with the rear wheels?
Has anyone here done this, do you like it better with awd or front wheel drive. thanks in advance for the comments and advice.
