My dad and I went to Brandywine this afternoon to look at a very nice turbo coupe. It was heavily modded, GT2 turbos, intercooler, headers, exhaust, injectors... etc. We walk in, and it was sold. As we were looking around, my dad saw a silver turbo cab. Long story short, we are picking it up monday after they install the ssk.

Well, I had his cab. for a week. When we saw this, we decided to trade it in for the tt. We are both so excited, as this is the first "supercar" my dad has owned. After a couple months, he said he'll call AWE for a chip... but first we are both going to enjoy it and get acclimated to it. So excited!!!!!!

forgot, supple leather,aluminum shifter and e-brake, park assist, and clears side markers are going on. Extended warranty until '10. Also, about the K40, all there is inside the car is a little dial that turns (and a hub around the base of the dial that turns as well), and two tiny red bulbs in front the instrument dials-- anybody know how to use it?

K40 is piece of cake, I have the same setup.

Dial turns one way for city, other for highway, center **** is volume/off.

I'll check mine and let you know which is city/hwy direction, but I think city is same direction as increased volume ring.

Eric- thanks a lot, we'll have to check it out. So it is just a radar detector, or detecter+jammer? What does a jammer do exactly? I'm not too savvy as far as radar "devices" go.

porscheboy- he will let me drive it whenever I want, just not to school. I wouldn't even want to take it to school.

 

That's cool of your dad. I agree with you about school; too many jealous punks would make it a dangerous situation.

 

Yeah, but he doesn't let me drive like an idiot. I drive fast, but nothing to a point where I have to work to keep the car stable. If he ever thought I was abusing it, he'd definately take that privelage away. For good reason too.

And school, it's just not worth it. The last thing I need are kids keying it and teachers seeing an 18 y.o pull up it. Completely unnecessary.

I think sometime during the summer he's going to do an AWE chip, than exhaust later. B&M short shift goes in monday before we pick it up.
