Yes, they are. The wheels are very similar to the Champion RG5B.

I think you may be my younger twin brother... Yeah man, it was a blast driving from So Cal back up to Vegas Sunday afternoon. I had a few friendly little runs on the 15 freeway with an SL55 AMG, a BMW 750IL, and an modded EVO.

Congratulations on your beautiful turbo! How do you think it compares to your previous modded Supra?

Well, both have that "crazy push you back in your seat" speed and acceleration. However, the 996tt seems to handle a lot better with the AWD and the wider tires in the back....very little breaking loose. The Supra was also a beast of a car as I got it up to 425rwhp but wasn't quite as fun to drive as the 996tt. The Supra is a little more roomy on the inside, but the 996tt has a more refined interior layout.

Thanks for the comparo. Sounds like you are experiencing what I love about the 911, it's poise and unflappable character. Nothing quite like it when tackling quick S-bends in the local canyons... It just remains so controlled.

I just love how the car throws itself into a corner and pulls so hard when exiting. This thread makes me sad...3 more days and i reunite with my baby.
