depends on how much you want to spend!! I just use a set of the stock hollow twists with the MPScup tires and they are fine. they are not the lightest or widest but with those tires are just fine at the track. Certainly stay away from 19's. If you want lighter get the Champions.

I plan to use the stock twists for track tires as well. Just bought a set of 18" Champion RG5 monolites for everyday use.

Ray

Those are nice wheels....since my car is silver i am mentally stuck on black wheels....

Since I am in Seattle WA ...lots of people told me Fikse...
My thing is to buy wheels that are the best quality for the money..definatly don t want to spend 8 K for the BBS...even so that would be nice
Thanks for your suggestions

The BBS's would be great for track, but for someone who has the money to throw down for them, for just track days haha.. Look into CCW wheels, lightweight, strong racing wheels!

ef996TT: I know of a set of Kinesis K28's with black centers and a polished lip in the Seattle area. There are no tires but the price is still very good. Send me an email or PM.

ef996TT: Those are the ones I am talking about. I was also thinking of purchasing the wheels for the track for my 993TT. I already have the exact same wheel, including the specs, except I have gold centers. These wheels would make great track wheels but if you are worried about buying used then maybe these wouldn't cut it. I just thought I would give you a heads up.

ef996TT: I had CCW wheels on my 944 turbo racecar. They were very well built and reasonably priced. I think I paid $1800 for 17x9 and 17x10 with gunmetal centers. This would be the way to go for a track wheel. You can get the wheel with a black center as well. I don't know if John does a glossy finish but I have seen CCWs with a flat black finish for the centers and they looked very good.
