Engineer here ..

Well sort-of. I own my own high tech computer engineering company. Most of my time is spent in sales/marketing now. I sure miss engineering.

Not 1, not 2, but 3 engineering degrees (welll, sort of-Operations Research, which is really more like applied math/optimization theory), the last from UC Berkeley. And my son is a senior at Berkeley in EECS. Joe W.., we really gotta get together. You are right down the road, right?

Started college as a Nuclear Engineer (went to college instead of graduating High School), then moved to EE/CS. Decided I wanted to manage folks like this to make money rather than doing it myself for a living. Finished with BSBA with an Econ Minor from Washington University and then got my MBA. Currently VP of Development for a software company in the Silicon Valley.

And I LOVE to work on Porsches.. Even Sharky's. Even when Sharky helps.. So you know I must be nuts.

Hey! No fair!

<grin>

What's this... is it fair for the owner of Valentine Radar detectors to be reading all the good stuff we post about his products!

Good job with the detectors... Absolutely love mine!
