I have the RUF's and LOVE um! I sell just about every other brand, but choose to pay full price for those cause I like them so much and have never looked back!

I also have the RUF's and love them, but I'm told the materials, design, and workmanship on the Carnewal pedals are identical at a substantially lower price. Might have bought Gert's if I'd known about them when I bought the RUF's. You can check out and compare the RUF's here: http://www.rufautocentre.com/

This thread raises a related question;

Should the gas pedal be smooth and the brake and clutch pedal include the rubber inserts. This is what is shown for the Techart pedals and it would seem to make sense. You want your foot to "slide" on the gas pedal as you accelerate or decelerate. You are basically only hinging your ankle. For the gas and clutch, you'd want a solid grip as you're using your leg muscles.

Am I missing something here.
