Non X50 PSI 480 List price $2600 http://www.ortonperformance.com/pors...6ttengine.html

The $1800 offer is for all flash types, one flat price. Debating the programs are like debating which Tire Company makes the best Tire. I would say do a search but the function does not work. I did alot of my research on rennlist since it was easy to find the info. The info is within this site too but hard to find until the search function is fixed. I know others will chime in.

Guys this is a great price for these flashes. I had mine done about a year ago and have MANY hours and miles and 2 DE's on this flash (480). My car runs great and come on boost quick and pulls hard. Best of all no matter how hard I drive it it does not burp stumble or miss EVER. I even have the crappy 01 plugs but with only 14,000 miles on them. He has been very helpful with me and you won't be dissapointed with this softward. I wish I had an x50 because if it wakes up those the way it woke up my k16 car look out. Jump on it guys and if you are really crazy ask him about the 55o kit. I know it is much more expensive but it is nasty fast! I also wanted to add that on this 480 flash with an EP2 exhaust, I ran a 11.91 at 119.9 in a tip. That is not too bad. I think if I get the braking launch technique down it would be 11.8 or so. From a roll this car is strong and do is giving full pull around 3-3500.

Question for Neil,

for us California dudes, what happens during smog test time? Does the car pass with the flash or does it need to be converted back to stock. If it needs to be converted to stock, do you have a "flash loader" type unit?

Regards

This sounds like a great deal. All of my dealings with Neal have been positive. If I didn't already have it I would do it!

All the cars we have done so far have not had a problem with smog.

Quick question. Does flashing help at all with fuel consumption as it optimizes the engine flow or w/e? Just trying to get more evidence to give to my dad as to why he should jump on this

I have had quite few people mention that after being flashed that gas milage has improved, that is untill you stand on the gas pedal.

Aaron like I said on Rennlist you need to make everyone aware this is just for Stage I flashes and the base TT cars. X50, GT2 and other modded TT programs will cost more.

I want to thank you & IA's participation in my request. I have allready made my deal with Neil and plan to move forward with the PSI520 upgrade for $1800.

We developed the GIAC Program for the GT3 in house, here at IA. You would need to pull the ECU and send it to:

ImagineAuto Inc.
8344 Melrose Drive
Lenexa KS. 66214

If you want more info just shoot me an email

For those of you going with the PSI upgrade through Neil @ Orton I can tell you that you will not be disappointed. Neil has worked on three of my cars and his work is top notch and the PSI mods on my Turbo are incredible! Enjoy and welcome to the PSI club!

I am interested in either the PSI or GIAC as well. They are both priced about the same. They both seem to make about the same amount of power. The PSI makes .9 bar versus GIAC of 1.0 bar.
I need help choosing between the two. The PSI seems to kick in sooner where the GIAC maybe makes a little more hp/tq. The GIAC handheld flashloader is nice but my car is under extended warranty not a Porsche warranty anyways. The shop that serives my car is awesome and is an approved repair shop for my warranty company, so the handheld flashloader will likely not be used.
My commute is about 6 miles a day total so top end speed is not a priority. I really want to feel the benefit and that's where my perception of the PSI proves beneficial. Anyone care to comment? I assume I cannot go wrong with either. BTW, my car is a stock 2001 with 24,000 miles.
Thanks,
Adam

Go with Neil Orton's offer. I have the PSI K480 upgrade and it is awesome !! Was installed almost a year ago, unbelieveable power and torque, VERY quick boost build and little lag. No CEL or any other issues.

In addition, Neil's service is top notch. He has earned my business to the extent that no one else services my car. Orton Performance has done PSI flash, suspension, B&M shift kit and basic service (oil change). I know many others (RXDOC/HHazrati) have used him as well. Great product and service, you can't go wrong.

I have messed around with another tubo cab and while his car pulled pretty well it threw lights like a runway at night. My car pulls a bit better and has NEVER thrown a code. I am also running an oiled BMC filter and still have had no problems. 2 DE's on this chip and severl thousand street miles and not one issue yet. My slow tip with the PSI 480 ran a 11.91 at 119.9 at the track and that was not building any boost on the launch. Just leaving with the light. From what I can tell many cars with more hp barely run 11.7 or so. I have been happy. I have not owned any other chips but I am happy with what I do have. I paid alot mort than 1800 also.
