good eastern PA or NJ mechanic?

Any of you Eastern PA or NJ guys know of a skilled mechanic that knows what he's doing with a 993? They work on lots of 996's up my way, but they don't seem to be familiar with the specific nuances of the 993 turbo.

Although the place up here has been fabulous with their body shop, I can't say the same for their techs. I was disappointed when they thought the 993 turbo had 12 spark plugs (no, that's the NA) when it has 6.

But now I'm PO'ed that they (almost certainly) botched an oil change and have my car burping billowing white smoke from the exhaust and have the intercooler and whatnot all full of oil.

Powertech

I second that they have been working on my cars since my 87 930. They work on all porsche models. Ask for Mike tell him Arnie sent you. I live 5 min. from there and I hang out there frequently

When I went back in, I had a very long an in depth dicussion with the mechanic who worked on the car. We went though some of the diagnostics he uses, listened to my symptoms, and gave me answers. Seems I burned off about half quart of oil alredy (car was overfilled). We have a plan of action worked out.

I'm still a little purturbed. I've noticed this odd problem in that the mechanics seem to have a high degree of pride in the work they do and take much interest/concern in problems. Unfortunately, that attitude doesn't seem to reflect in any customer-facing individuals.
