Hey TEXMEX I don't know who you are, where you came from or what you drive. But you won't make many friends coming online with your attitude. So take a chill pill bro!

so basically would you say "porsche there is no subsitute" to a guy with a lambo, modena, f40, f50, enzo, mac f1? ? ?

If I was only able to own one car and my choices were a 3.0 litre 911 with rust falling off at every bump, or a "insert any other car here other than a Pcar".......I would take the Porsche.

*** Clown...

Hey, everyone has a right to be wrong...

If someone loves their Pinto, so be it.

But there is no substitute for a Porsche... while the Italian trash sits in the shop waiting for literally months for parts to come in, I'm enjoying my 700 horsies, day after day...

techmx, I know we will probably disagree, but if only you knew what a really powerful Porsche feels like... you wouldn't envy Ferrari owners.

I'd take a road-going 996-based GT1 over the Enzo or MacF1 any day.

Fred - what turbos' are you running with the 4GT/GTR software?

1) Kevin's Zero Clearance 16/24 Hybrid Monsters

2) Garrett With Ball Bearings

3) Garretts without Ball Bearings

Thanks, Mike

I believe Fred is using a hybrid K16 hot side / Garrett GT ball bearing cold side setup.

Stage 5 is a true Garrett ball bearing setup, as it is employing T04B's.

Am I proud of my turbo your DAMN right I am. If that is bad then call me BAD!

So when some newbie comes on the boards and starts saying something about me and my baby yeah I am going to react.

Agreed. Supras, Vipers, Vettes and I would also add Camero's and Firebirds. I know of a couple muscle cars that have some serious ponies. But then again those cars are strickly set up for the 1/4 mile and have absolutely no handling.

I don't race on the highway anyways and save it for the track. That is where our Porsches shine. They may be fast but are not 1/4 cars in my opinion.
Fred,

ive seen the video of you racing Lonmans GT2 at Gumball3000 SF to Miami...

but as far as the cops are concerned it wasnt a race and you were both cruising at 65mph

Tech,

No it was not Nascar. I raced in the American Speed Assoication - ASA (www.asaracing.com) for 2 years. I was looking to move to the Nascar Busch series but the economy took a downturn and our business was hurting. Our company was our major sponsor. I would love to do it again it was a blast. I am actually thinking I will do some Barber Dodge Pro Series races this year. Those cars are sweet. They will be running support races for Cart next year.
