Is the ECU on the 996TT capable of running VTGs? I believe 996TTs use ME7.8, and 997s (all of them) use 7.8.1, with the difference being a faster processor and larger storage capacity for data maps.

why would you want to use those turbos? (VTG)

You would need a 7.8.1 ECU and harness to make this work... It's possible, but why? There are plenty of bolt-on turbos that spool faster than a VTG anyhow
