What is the highest mileage you've seen on a 996TT? Mine has over 30K miles in just under 2 years of ownership and I am already considering its replacement.

Can a stock TT go for 100K miles with routine maintenance?

 

I saw one with 68k miles on it, the guy wanted 62k for it.. To be honest if the car had an extended warranty...and you did not have to pay for the repairs out of your pocket...I would have bought that, and Gumballed it, but it did not have a warranty. Also Normally aspired Porsche engines are pretty relalble, my father bought a 1987 porsche turbo new and drove it until 1998 and that car ran amazing all the time, of course maintance is key.

 

There is one guy on the Rennteam board with over 100,000.

How come a replacement??? Just want a new car , or are things really falling apart???

 

I hope it's the former and not the latter! I will probably be at the 30K mark or just shy of it around the 2 year mark and Im just loving my car.

I've put 16K miles on the car in just 10 months! I choose to use it as my daily driver b/c I just cant get enough of it! Rain or shine...my car will be on the road!

I've had the car chipped for 12K of those miles...and will be adding more mods, so I hope the car lasts a long time. Im holding out for the 998TT...let's just hope it debuts earlier or I get a long lifespan out of my car!
