Techart Formula 20" on a 996 Turbo

Anyone on here running the Techart Formula 20" on a 996 Turbo? I have heard they now fit, but with spacers? I like the idea of a 20" wheel, but i'd also prefer they fit right. I know the 19's are fine.

Any advice is appreciated. Also, if youre sellin such a wheel, I'm-a-buyin'. Drop me a line.

Hi guys...

(they gave me the ability to post so look out )

Anyway, i wanted to let you all know about this from my original post. Techart.de issued a release stating that with spacers and a 'fender mod' you can run 20" Formulas on the 996 widebody profile. Here's a link to the article:
http://www.techart.de/news_formula_20_turbo_e.htm

The tech sheet:
http://www.techart.de/PDF_Zone/TA_KN_01_11_05_96.pdf

and here is a link to a green 996TT with 20's:
http://www.techart.de/galerie/996_Tu...6_tt_gruen.htm

Cant decide if the 20" is getting too "DUB Magazine" or not. Talk amongst yourselves :-)

Too big for my taste. I hope you live in an area with smooth roads if you are going to put them on your car. Good luck.

definitely think they are too big for the car - maybe it's just that style as some of the other 20" wheels i've seen on 996tt aren't that "bold"

i tend to agree with you guys...i think the 19" Formula with a little lowering is the perfect match for the 996TT. Who knows someone else may dig the look so i wanted to pass it along.

Agreed! love them to death and i would only go 19's myself, but the weight is keeping me back. I even took my off 19" champion's because my hollow spoke twist's and pirellis were stiffer and made the car feel much more nimble!

Its all up to you, if you like performance 20's arent the way to go, especially in Techart's!

19''s are a perfect fit. No need to go any bigger.
