Numbers are tricky because the cars are so rare... The cost to convert one to US spec is about 35K. There are cars in Europe with miles on them. A google search I just did claimed to find a few at about 179K for higher miles cars. Finding low miles cars are getting hard and I've seen prices considerably higher.
I did not buy my car from Canepa. He does an extensiive re-do of the car, changing much of it. I decided I wanted a stock 959 and I wanted to convert it myself. Once the conversion was done, Andial serviced my car. Now it is mine.
PS -- Drove it in the pouring rain all day yesterday. Car is insane in the wet. I swear it was thanking me for driving it in the storm.

I remember drooling over the 959 as it was one of the first "production" cars to do a 3.6 sec 0-60. Likely you won't want to drop the clutch in your car to find out, but would be interested to know if it is faster 0-60 than a stock 996TT
