Upsolute Poll: What are your other mods?

Hi,

I'd like to find out what mods you are running with your Upsolute and if you are satisfied with the Upsolute.

Thank you

I've been modding cars for many years, and the Upsolute was one of the best single mods I'd ever spent on a car in terms of performance. And definitely the best bang-for-bang mod ever.

I'm very happy with the service and results of it on my '01 Turbo. With the Upsolute, K&N, and Cargraphic exhaust, I was able to pull from a stock GT2 on the highway from about 70 ~ 120. Didn't run at speeds past that though.

Have only the UpSolute on my 03 TT with no other mods and am Very happy. It is the best bang for the buck. I can find no downside at all except for possibly future service at the dealer. (PS. The car recently dynoed at 410 HP at AWE.)

David, get an exhaust and you will feel a big improvement in upper end power.

Mansour......to be fair, wasn't it true that your program was for a non-X50 Turbo, or at least not properly optimized for X50? Most 'regular' Turbo owners do not report any increase in lag, and some even experience a decrease.......

That's 410WHP on a mustang AWD Dyno....over 500FWHP

But I do agree that an exhaust will only help!

If you have an exhaust, what boost do you get at 3,000 and 4,000 RPM?

If you have NO exhaust, what boost do you get at 3,000 and 4,000 RPM?

Who has dynoed the delta between factory and aftermarket airfilter?

Thanks

The BMC filter makes that much of a difference? Do you notice a seat of the pants difference?

.1 bar would be a 30 hp improvement, no?

With the Upsolute, Cargraphic exhaust, and K&N, I see sustained and consistant 1.0 BAR on the factory boost readout.

sld7,

I have read that .1 bar is about 30 HP but am not sure that is reality on a lightly modified TT. On a 600 RWHP beast that is a different story. On my old 01 TT ran 1.2 bar with a Unichip and it did 0 to 60 in 3.87 sec. This # was taken with a Passport G-Timer and two passengers.
