How often can one clean the MAF?

My 996 turbo seems to be a bit less responsive when hitting the gas compared to when I first upgraded it to a stage III. My last oil change was about 2 months ago / 700 miles and thats when I cleaned the MAF. I'm wondering if I'm just used to the upgrade already or would cleaning the MAF freshen it up again? Any recommendations or thoughts?

There should be a new "tougher" MAF coming out soon. I am waiting for the announcement.
