Doc, you are undoubtedly the man and I echo the sentiments of my fellow 6speeders, but I have a question: do you let the kids in the neighborhood get a peak? Man If I grew up next to you I think I'd camp out just to catch a glimpse of the garage opening as you went to work.

People do tend to "drop by", especially if the garage is open and they see me in it...makes my wife a bit nervous, and on occasion, we've had kids knock on the door to take a look....by in large, its fun chatting to people who are enthusiastic about cars. Have to be careful about security though...safety of my gang is paramount of course.

Trust me, in my short time knowing RufMD he's definetly proven himself as the type that shares his passion. You definetly deserve every minute of seat time in each car. I'm in love with your CS, that combo is amazing, the interior is artwork in itself! Now you have a ride that your wife can drive without being intimidated (well at least the shifting aspect). I can't wait to see that one in person. I remember you talking about the delivery services being busy earlier this week for all the ballers, I think we know who the real baller is...

How do you get all the cars out for the lineup photos? Do you have to drive them out one at a time or does the wife help? Tell her she gets my vote for being so understanding.

Yes. You should definitely consider more security. I don't know how you stand now, but you should always have a safety net.

Safety of family is the number one factor in a person's life. That is why I wait (and stand a few feet away from a nice car) for drivers of nice cars to leave.

Yea its cool your such an enthusiast/stand up guy and not pompous one bit it seems when it comes to kids and other people who would love to check out your rides. BUT you bring up a good point, i bet it can get a bit scary for you witht hose cars, house and so on, be carefull!
I would have boobytraps and everything if i were you

Congrat's! I remember collecting Matchbox cars, and how excited I was when I'd saved up enough money to buy the one that I'd wanted for a long, long time. Your threads remind me of an excited, wide-eyed kid who just loves sports cars and dreams about getting special ones and fulfilling small dreams (small compared to family, that is). Congrat's on working hard and fulfilling what must be the grown-up version of your boyhood dreams. Now, instead of making "vrrrooooommm....vrooOOOOMMM!" noises with Matchbox cars, you can blip the throttle on some of the sweetest sounding cars ever. I can just imagine what a big smile you must be wearing when you hear those incredible sounds. Cheers.
