I plotted the RUF dyno figures over the 997tt chart on the porsche website. First time I've tried this, but I think I got it right (converting nm to lb.-ft. torque). Here's what I came up with:

looks like the TQ on the RUF car falls off very fast... in my opinion its all about the area under the curve... and I didnt see that on this graph.

Ruf cars are hardly lacking in "area under the curve"
Their ponies are much larger than most tuners... and I think the R Turbo is faster than a 997TT, especially on the top end from 100mph to top speed.
Mark, I am sure your car will be extraordinarily fast, but I doubt you would find the RT 12 to be a slouch either.
