Engine lid problem

I have my airbox out to clean the bloody MAF...

and now, with the battery on, the engine lid won`t open. It does its normal sound, but the lid won`t open. It`s jammed or something. Is there a manual release like for the front lid? any suggestions? WD40, crowbar?

its kind of an emergency since my airbox is still out, can`t drive anywhere.

thanks in advance

marco

thanks dude.

I took out both rear lights, saw the wire and released the lid. Damn electrical release!

Now I go put in my airbox and pray my MAF cleaning did the job.

Leaving for DE in 2 hours, would have been a ***** to call the head instructor and tell him I can`t make it because I couldn`t open my bloody engine lid!
