Very nice. I love the NW for its great outdoors in the summer and winter as well. Are you planning to head up to Mountain Rainier anytime soon?

Scott, 25 south of Hollister is nice. I was on it a month ago and it was green then.
Also, what would we do without Microsoft Streets and Trips? I outline the trip then see how I do on time/miles. Saturday I was an hour and a half late by 10:30am (Hell's Canyon kept me there awhile). Still 90 minutes down after getting on 51 south of Mountain Home (southeast of Boise about 40 miles), Idaho. By the time I rolled into Ely at 8:20pm, I was only 10 behind, even with a car wash in Elko. Good old Nevada...

Just amazing shots. I cant wait to do those routes sometime.

Funny. I too have encountered the same truck phenomenon. Quite exasperating to say the least!

Vincent, sorry I wasn't able to take you up on a ride along the coast. I just don't have the extra time, at least until after July, and I didn't want to leave the car in Portland that long.
I hope that sometime August/Sept I'm able to get over to the Dakotas. See Mt. Rushmore, then perhaps loop on through Glacier before heading home. I don't think I'll be back in Washington this year. But, the Cascade loop, or finishing the north side of it as well as a route around Olympus is on my short list.
Enjoy the summer
Bruce

I was just about to dump my Rebel XT for the new 30D, what lenses do you use?

I have three, a super wide 10-22, 28-135 IS and 70-300 IS. The 10-22 takes some amazing shots.
