Coil Pack Part Numbers! Confusion!!!

I am currently replacing the coil packs on my Turbo (all 6)

When I passed the part number (of the coil pack itself) it's

OEM No 996 602 102 00 / Beru No 0 040 100 021

When I have supplied relevant numbers to my parts supplier (not Main Dealer) comes up with Beru No 0 040 100 031, which according to them this is accross the whole 996 & Boxter range!

When I check with Beru website it tells me that standard 996 (not Turbo) 2001 to present date, uses Beru No 0 040 100 031, but Turbo and Boxter use Beru No 0 040 100 036.

Bloody confusion going on! Does anyone know the difference in both these part number, because they look identical!

So why is it on the Beru site that the 996 (standard) is different to Turbo/GT2

http://www.beru.com/english/produkte...&action=step02

Are these the same part, anyone know whats different about them?

I find that the Buru numbers are not always correct.

Looks like I might be wrong! It's the 3.4 engine that uses the Beru No 0 040 100 031

The Beru No I taken of the car was No 0 040 100 021, and on the site it states No 0 040 100 036.

FFS, I give in with these numbers, it's doin' my nut in! lol
